Many of our competitors simply run ads, put up billboards and plaster their names on the sides of buses and park benches. That’s not PCS. Each person’s needs are different and we understand that. At PCS, you are not just a number, but a unique person with a unique personality and background and your needs are your needs and not someone else’s.
At PCS, you won’t see our name every time you turn around. We’ll leave that to those who simply operate in the assembly line of staffing. Our mantra is that of quality far above quantity. In the end, if a person accepts an opportunity that isn’t the right one, who benefits? No one does. We provide detail to each candidate as to each position you might be a fit for and let YOU decide. While it seems like a novel idea, it shouldn’t be. It should be the way everyone operates. To us it's just the right way.
PCS looks at each skill set as unique. That’s good because each client has unique needs. PCS works hard to find good, qualified candidates based on their unique skills and experiences. Things like a good work history, clean background, great references all speak to quality. Those with the best of these will generally be placed. However, PCS understands that economic times do not always allow for everything to be perfect and we want to do our very best for those who may not have “perfection” in everything. That’s where the skill of over 25 years of recruiting prowess comes to play. Sometimes, the “right” person isn’t obvious at first. That’s what it’s all about. It’s about finding out what’s “hidden” beneath the surface of a candidate.
What can you expect in dealing with PCS?
You may find our answers unlike anyone else you’ve dealt with.
First, we require a resume written by you. No one knows your skills like you. We understand though, that everyone doesn’t know how to best express their skills, so upon submitting you to one of our clients, we will re-write your resume to best describe your experiences. We will often call you several times to get it just right.
Second, we’ll send you details on any job we feel you might be a fit. You can also track jobs on our website because new jobs come in every day and it’s tough to keep you updated on each one. Your resume will be sent to clients only after you have approved the opportunity. You
will know when PCS sends your resume out. Most of our competitors don’t bother telling you because it takes too much time or they don’t want to share with you the company name. We just can’t comprehend that. We feel
all that plays into your decision making. Sure, we have lost deals over doing things the right way. Maybe we were a little slower or maybe a candidate didn’t want to be presented to a particular company, but we’re happy to “lose a deal” doing it the right way any day. We believe we’ll win in the long haul and so will you.
Finally, you will know who you can call for answers. Often times the needs of our clients change rendering your skills not needed or the timing of projects can change creating a longer wait time. You need to know whom to call. With PCS, you will.
